Pho is a rice noodle soup with aromatic broth and meat. It originated in the 20th century in northern Vietnam and has become an emblem of the country.

Ingredients:
- 1 liter of beef broth
- 200 g rice noodles
- 200 g of thinly sliced beef
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anises
- Bean sprouts, cilantro, and lime for serving

Preparation:
- Boil the broth with ginger, cinnamon, and star anise for 30 minutes.
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
- Serve the noodles in a bowl and place the raw beef on top.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles and beef, then add the accompaniments.
